The Black Colour In Bible Verses – What Do They Mean?

Colour in the bible is a very touchy subject. Today their is a false notion that we live in a colour blind world, where people are not concerned.

The essence of this thought is definitely supported by this articles, but here we do things in truth – so we know that “colour does matter”. Let’s remember what the Messiahs said to a women, who was not of the nation of Israel:

John 4:22-24

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

If the Messiah himself made a distinction of people isn’t it right that we should do the same? Not being an Israelite by no means, negates the possibility of receiving salvation, but the YHWH, has create all things in his order and the same is true for his creation of man.

Here we will be looking for the colour black in the bible and see what it indicates and what, has been lost in tradition and translation.

First thing to remember is that in the last days Israel would be scattered and not even know who they are.

This can be seen in:

Jeremiah 17:4-5

4And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

5Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

So by analyzing colour in the bible it will be able to uncover the real nations of Israel and allow them to gain back an understanding of themselves, which they can then teach the world with this is what the Father intends for these last days.

Let’s check out the scriptures take on the colour black in bible verses:

Acts 13:1-3

1Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Here we see that the Prophets and Teachers Barnabas and Simeon were called NIGER, many would like to read this as just a name but this word means “BLACK“, and its no coincidence that later on regions in Africa were called Nigeria and Niger and are where a lot of the black slave trade came from.

There are also other West African countries, that were apart of this too.

Let’s keep in mind during this time in the bible the Israelite’s were under Roman rule, so they would have Called these Prophets Niger (Black). As the Romans were European, and of a paler complexion.

Another scripture that talks about the colour of Solomon is found in:

Song of Solomon 1:4-6

4 Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Here clearly Solomon who is from the tribe of Judah calls him self black, and this is the word dark relating to a black complexion, it comes from the Hebrew:

Hebrew Strongs 7838

Shachor

shachor shaw-khore’ or shachowr {shaw-khore’}; from 7835; properly, dusky, but also (absol.) jetty:–black.

All this clearly gives indication of the colour of the Jews and unfolds a lot of what is going on with a lot of the dark nations today, particularly those that settled on the west coast of African.

Who were eventually dispersed to all the four corners of the world starting poignantly from the siege of Israel in 70Ad, and even before that during Babylonian captivity in 700BC, so according to prophecy this scattering of Israel has been fulfilled today.

Moses And What Charlton Heston Forgot?

One of the most telling Miracles that occurred in the scriptures was concerning Moses, when the Father, used him to perform miracles that would prove he was sent by the Father.

This miracle was conveniently left out in the well known film where Charlton Heston played Moses (Charlton Heston being a white man – is definitely the reason for this omission) i.e. The Ten Commandments 1956.

This Miracle required Moses to put is hand within his cloak and then to pull it out. His hand was then turned to leprous white? This can easily be ignored, but if we think about it, this clearly would not have be such a great feat if Moses was already white in complexion?

Exodus 4:6

6 And the Lord said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

This is clear indication that the true biblical Israelite’s are what is called black today.

If you are a sincere believer looking for the truth, pass this message on and let people know who the lost tribes of Israel really are so that we can speed up the Messiahs return, and we can begin living in a world with out credit and the other woes we currently find ourselves in today.

And let me also add, just because the Father chose Israel this does in no way exclude other nations, but the truth needs to be acknowledged. The Father didn’t suddenly become colour blind. If so we would all be one colour.
