As the name suggest we plan to show you how to understand the bible, by using the scriptures in context. We know that people have varying interpretations of the bible, but we believe that the only true interpretation of the scriptures, is by putting things in their right context.
It is even more important to understand the bible the way YHWH says to, by disregarding our own personal spins on what the scriptures are saying.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
It is important to understand that the bible has an historical backdrop so historical studies are very relevant when trying to understand the scripture contained in it.
We would like to dispel the myth of a private interpretation of the scripture, hopefully you will see understanding the bible from YHWH’s perspective.
What the Scriptures Say About Studies
Let’s look at what the Apostle Paul had to say about how to read and understand the bible:
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Here Paul makes it clear that studies are clearly, needed inorder to `understand the bible. We hope to make this task much easier for you here. It’s important to note that this same thing was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah:
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
So as we can see the prophecy clearly says that to gain knowledge and to understand YHWH‘s doctrine it is to be done gradually “line upon line“, and bit by bit, “here a little, and there a little”.
We also see the metaphor of being “weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breast“, which further supports a development process. With that being said, check out the the articles we have and start understanding bible verses , for the ultimate goal, of entering the Kingdom to Come.
Once we start reading the bible properly we begin to see that it truly does promote bible verses about family – and that it does not condone unjust evil’s of any kind, as the world would love to have people believe.
